How do you like the new digs? After weeks using a vanilla Blogger template, I’ve migrated the site to Wordpress and this nifty custom design. Not that Blogger was so bad, but I’m a web developer — my site should be more sophisticated than that! So, welcome to the Wordpress phase of my blog.

Actually, I quite like Wordpress. I have used it for a couple of my clients sites and can say that, as far as content management systems go, it has to be the easiest one to use out there. It has its drawbacks, as does every system. Still, I have done some pretty extensive customization on one of the Wordpress sites I developed and it turned out to be surprisingly flexible. Nonetheless, it is best suited for blogs or sites that have a blog component. So, that’s the main reason I went with it for my blog. Let me know what you think about the new look and share your own Wordpress experiences.

Update: To readers who left comments on the previous incarnation of this site, the transition to Wordpress was not as smooth as expected and your comments did not make the migration with the posts. I will continue my efforts to restore your comments, but I extend, in the meantime, my sincerest apologies to you and I hope you will continue to provide your feedback as it is greatly appreciated.
