Dear GWATTMOTW,
What do you like most about the internet?
What I love most about the internet is not any particular site or any particular technology. What I love about the internet is how all of those nagging little questions we all asked as kids can now be answered within a few minutes of online searching.
Recently, I found a link to this page on Digg:

Anyone with even a passing interest in science (or parlour tricks) has come across the claim that it is a physical impossibility to fold paper more than eight times. The above-linked refutes that claim with the story of a brilliant, high-school age mathematician who not only folded paper a ninth time, but three more times on top of that. By approaching the problem scientifically, she determined the mathematical limits required to achieve the result.
So, whatever your fancy, be it folding paper or why the sky is blue or what Jupiter is made of or even the name of that actor in the show you just watched whose name you just can’t quite recall, chances are someone else asked that same question and posted the answer online. How can you NOT love a medium like that?
